Capital of
Greece, named after the greek goddess
Athena. Athens was home to one of the earliest recorded formal
democracies and the site of the
Parthenon.
It is served by a new constructed and opened airport, the Eleftherios Venizelos airport, about a 40 minute taxi ride from the city centre(dependant upon the density of the traffic).
