Joseph Goebbels (1897-1945)

Adolf Hitler's propaganda minister in Nazi Germany. He was a prominent figure of the regime, known for his great rhetoric capabilities. He played a large role in helping the Nazis stay in power by presenting the Nazi ideology to the German people in a favourable light.

Hitler appointed Goebbels Chancellor of the Third Reich in his will. Therefore, for a few days in April 1945, Goebbels held the same position in country as Hindenburg? and Otto von Bismarck once did. On May 1 1945, however, Goebbels and his wife first shot their six children and then commited suicide.
