Difference (from prior major revision) (no other diffs)

Changed: 1c1
Seminal horror movie directed by [George Romero]? which was to transfigure the horror-movie genre. The plot is simple: the dead come to life, and start attacking the living in order to feed upon their flesh. Although a low budget film, it maintains plot tension and direction with astonishing precision and there are scares around every corner. Interestingly, Romero takes the opportunity to reverse any number of stereotypes within the film, and the only truly sympathetic character is a black man who takes refuge within a farm house.
