For what it's worth, I really like this article a lot! I think the idea behind it is valid -- there DO exist "myths" ("stories that serve to unfold part of the world view of a people or explain a practice, belief, or natural phenomenon") that apply to science. I do worry, though, that this concept is an invention, and that inventions might not belong in an encyclopedia. Can anyone find references to science mythology anywhere else? -- Cayzle |
