Iktinos was one of the two architects of the Parthenon, active in the middle of the 5th century B.C.

Iktinos (active in the mid 5th century B.C.), with Kallikrates, architect of the Parthenon. Iktinos also designed the temple of Apollo at Bassae, the first known use of a corinthian? column.
