Changed: 2c2
This canal was constructed in the early 19th century, stretching all the way from Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast, through the great lakes Vänern and Vättern to Söderköping? on the Baltic Sea. Built only decades before the advent of railroads (see Rail Transport), the canal was soon outdated, and never upgraded. This makes it a perfect tourist attraction.
