Titus Flavius Domitianus, Roman emperor (81 - 96 A.D), known in English as Domitian, was the son of Vespasian and brother of Titus. After Titus he was only the second emperor to inherit the imperial throne. Although unpopular with the Senate he proved to be a competent administrator and commander of the army he also restored the state finances to a positive position.
