Reich - the German word for "empire". Often used by right-wing extremists in
Germany to describe their country,
probably to evocate the regime of
Adolf Hitler, that his
movement called
Das Dritte Reich, ('The Third Reich'). The first and second Reich were the
Holy Roman Empire and the empire headed by
Kaiser Willhelm.
