Valentinus, or Valentine,
pope for thirty or forty days in 827, in succession to [Eugenius II]
? (824-827), was a Roman by birth, aand, according to the
Liber Pontificalis, was first made a deacon by [Paschal I]
? (817-824). Nothing further is known of his history. His successor was
Gregory IV (827-844)
