By popular I meant the term was "in common or predominant usage", no-one calls it Community Charge these days and most people have forgotten the orginal term. One thing I did miss out that was that the poll tax unrest certainly felt as if it was part of a largely cycle of unrest at the time but I can't currently document this to my satisfaction. -- Aristotle
