Louis I the Great

Louis I the Great acceeded as king of Hungary in 1342. He was the son of [Charles I Robert]?, king of Hungary from the dynasties of the Anjou? and Capet?.He died in 1382.

Louis' mother was Elizabeth, the sister of Casimir III the Great.

When the Polish Piast? rulers died out in 1370, Louis I the Great, king of Hungary became king of Poland also.

Louis had two daughters :

Hedwig or Jadwiga, queen of Poland Mary of Hungary , queen of Hungary
