Leukemia

Leukemia is cancer of the [bone marrow]? and lymph tissue, resulting in massive production of deformed white blood cells.

Leukemia was first described by the German Pathologist Virchow in 1847.

Symptons include:

• Easy bruising
• Paleness
• Loss of appetite
• Spots on the skin which look like rashes
• Swelling of gums
• Headaches, weakness, nausea
