John Nash

John F. Nash Jr., (June 13 1928 - ) mathematician and founder of game theory.

After a promising start to his mathematical career, Nash suffered from schizophrenia for many years, from which he has only recently recovered.

He was awarded the 1994 Nobel Prize for economics.
