Showing revision 2
The latin name for the Buzzard is buteo buteo. Their wingspan typically is between 110 to 130 centimetres. They are the largest [bird of prey]? to be found in the west of England. Their distribution range is continental, from Europe to Asia.

They are now relatively uncommon and this rarity leads many to suppose that they are solitary creatures, but they are in fact inclined to flock.

They favour habitat which is remote: woodland, moorland, mountainous areas.
