Arthur Tudor

Henry VII of England named his eldest son Arthur after the hero of Arthurian legend as a sign of his hopes for a rebirth of English greatness. Arthur died before he could mount the throne, however, and his brother Henry became the next King.

Henry did not only inherit Arthur's title he also was given his dead brother's wife Catherine of Aragon.
