Dmerrill, I don't how the fact that this group has a Yahoo discussion group entails that the organization is no more than that discussion group. If that were the case, I'd agree that we should probably remove the article. But since the group was allegedly founded in the mid-80s and seems (though I really haven't a clue, myself) to be influential in the "masculinist" movement, on what grounds can the entire deletion of the article be justified?

Looking at a Google search, I'm beginning to come around to your opinion, David. Just from that source it looks like there's some reason to think Tom Smith is just a particularly active member of the masculist movement (which is, contrary to something you wrote somewhere, most certainly a bona fide movement, albeit small). I'm not sure that he or the American Union of Men is particularly important in this movement. --LMS
