Ari, I simply had to add some humor to the Latter Day Saints page, talk section. I told them they took themselves too seriously, and wrote a joke, off the top of my head, in there. Something about Jimi Hendrix played a song for Joseph Smith called "Hey Joe" and something about the first stanza of the lyrics related to "my old lady messin round with another man(Brigham Young). Did this twice, and of course they deleted it out of talk with no comments. ~BF

I'm not sure if I remeber correctly, but didn't Boethius translate some of aristotle's works into latin? Certianly he is one channel by which Aristotilian logic became known to the middle ages. MRC
Yep, but MUCH less than he intended to (not his fault - he was, after all, executed by Theodoric? the Ostrogoth). If he'd finished his project (and if Cassiodorus had gotten on the stick) the history of philosophy might be very different. --MichaelTinkler
