Simon Templar

Name of a character in a series of books by [Leslie Charteris]?. Also known as "The Saint" and sometimes uses the nom de guerre Sebastian Tombs.

It is not clear exactly what Simon Templar does for a living, although burglary is often alluded to in the books. The books are set in the middle of the 20th century.

The character appeared in a 1970s television show named "The Saint" and starring [Roger Moore]? as Templar. A film with [Val Kilmer]? in the title role was also made, but diverged far from the Charteris books.
