SAGE

SAGE, the Semi Automated Ground Environment, was IBM's contribution to the Bomarc missile program during the Cold War.

It enabled remote launching, monitoring and communication with Bomarc batteries. This allowed for advanced tracking of targets and missiles as well as the ability for individual Bomarc installations to help each other out should one be running low on missiles.
