Lindy Hop is a dance developed in the Savoy ballroom in Harlem?. The major styles of Lindy danced today are [Savoy-Style Lindy Hop]?, Hollywood-Style Lindy Hop, LA style Lindy.

Lindy Hop is much more intensive than East Coast Swing it is done in 8 counts of music rather than 6 counts.

The basic step is called the Swing Out.
