Daytime Occupation: Web Designer for a Science Faculty. I have a background in English Literature and history and more recently moved into IT and teaching. I am delighted with the distributed and open-source movements growing in the WWW. I am sure this is the way forward and Wikipedia looks promising.

I have a long-term, ongoing research interest in the ancient, prehistoric world, in particular the ancient Goddess religions, and in discovering the connections and developments between/within these. I am a feminist. I know this is old-fashioned, and I hope it doesn't offend anyone, but I don't apologise for it as I believe it is a valid stance.
