Diene

Dienes are hydrocarbons which contain two [double bonds]? separated by a [single bond]?. The simplest diene is 1,3-butadiene:

Such configuration of bonds make them more reactive, and thanks to this effect diens are more reactive than other alkenes, but less that allenes.
