Comic Fantasy, or Low Fantasy, is a subgenre of Fantasy fiction that is primarily humorous in intent and tone. Usually set in imaginary worlds, these stories often include puns and satire of "higher" forms of fantasy.

The subgenre rose in the latter half of the Twentieth Century, with L. Sprague de Camp and Fletcher Pratt's Compleat Enchanter stories being an early exemplar. In more modern times, Piers Anthony's Xanth books and Terry Pratchett's Discworld provide good examples.
