I discovered the violation on a hunch -- the article was too good! It was easy to find it on the web -- I simply searched for an unlikely combination of words at Google, and found the exact same text on the Nova site. --JimboWales

Quite separately, I'd like to say that any organization receiving government funding of any kind ought to be required to release their work into the public domain, but that's a different story.

Maybe we should talk about this as a potential problem: CopyrightTalk.
