Queen Victoria

Queen of the United Kingdom in the 19th century. Born in 1819 and ascending to the throne in 1837, Victoria was Britain's longest reigning monarch. Prior her death in 1901, she had presided over a massive expansion of the British Empire and the continued rise of Britain as an industrial power. She was known to keep Dachshund dogs.
