- Blithys Folly 1800 - Rich linen barons attempt to beat competition to best boats arriving at Fife coast.
- Dogton stone 800 - Stone believed to commemorate major battle between Picts and Scots.
- The Mitchell Hall [[1896] - Donated to community. Leased illegally between 1970 and 1980 by Fife council. Reclaimed by local community in 1995. It has regained its place in the social life not only of local groups but has become an asset to Fife as a whole.
MP The Rt Hon Gordon Brown, (Labour). He did not help the local community to reclaim its assets.
Former MP`s include Willie Gallacher, (Communist) and Willie Hamilton, (Labour).
Kinglassie is a former mining village on the outskirts of Glenrothes.
The mine closed in 1967
The Kinglassie & District Pipe Band was reformed in 1982. It now holds a place in Grade Two.
