Wollin Peninsula in Pomerania is nearly connected to the Usedom Peninsula. Only a very narrow straight leads the water from the Oder river , which flows into a bay called Greater (Grosse) Haff through the straight into the Pomeranian Bay (Pommersche Bucht), which is a part of the Baltic Sea.
