Structural geology is a part of geology busy with any structure visible in rocks. A structure is defined by any visible boundary in roch or any repetition of a boundary in rocks.
"Structural geology is the study of deformed rocks that make up the upper layers of the earth." (Suppe, J. Principles of Structural Geology. Wylie, 1985).
