This page is created in the interest of having a record of the rumors and misinformation that can arise in the face of tragedy. It is not intended to be disrespectful of those who, perhaps innocently, might relay such information believing it to be true. Would also support removing this page if it turns out to cause more confusion and pain than it is intended to defuse. So: :False Nostradamus prediction (will move misinformation from there to here, but wanted to link to it first) :Someone wrote, re an edit to the main page: "Removed reference to Kashmiri claiming; haven't heared anything of it since the first time, so I assume it was shown to be a fake quickly." :Several reported rescues from the World Trade Center on Sept. 13 proved to be false.
