King of Norway from 1957 to 1991. Born July 2 1903 in England. Died January 17 1991. Son of Haakon VII and Maud. He was christianed Alexander Edward Christian Fredrik, and was Prince of Denmark. When his father became King of Norway in 1905, he got the name Olav. He was succeeded by his son Harald V upon his death.
