:Well, this is completely misleading. It seems that one company has decided not to play a certain number of songs. That doesn't mean that "Imagine" has been forbidden in the U.S. It was played very prominently as part of a free televised concert a few weeks after 9/11, for instance. I agree with the anonymous editor who said Lennon's killer doesn't deserve publicity, but I also think that the name is a bit of reasonably important pop trivia, of the sort that really should be in an encyclopedia article about Lennon. --LMS |
