HyperCard is a simple programming environment designed by Apple Computer. It uses a "stack" of virtual "cards" as its basic metaphor; cards can be interconnected by hypertext links (thus the name of the program). Text and graphics can be placed on each card. It can be used as a simple database. The programming language HyperTalk? comes with the product and can be used to make the stacks do useful and interesting things.
