Feet is a nonmetric unit for length. 1 foot is exactly 30.48 cm or 12 inches.
Feet is the name for several nonmetric units of length.

The primary one today is the international foot of 12 international inches, exactly 30.48 cm. This is what is almost always meant by the word 'inch'.

There is also a U.S. survey foot, used only by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, defined as exactly 12 U.S. survey inches, approximately 30.48006 cm.
