Westminster system

The Westminster System is a system of government modelled after that of the United Kingdom. In it, members are elected to parliament in single-member, geographically based districts (also called ridings) via the First past the post electoral method.

Countries that follow the Westminster system include the UK, Canada, and New Zealand.
