Showing revision 7
The Sophia of Jesus Christ was translated from codices of the Nag Hammadi scrolls, dated 2nd century A.D., found in Egypt in 1945. Clearly they were gnostic in origin. The Sophia purports to be a conversation between Jesus and his disciples after his resurrection from the dead. Highly mystical, this translation concerns the creation of gods, angels and the universe with an emphasis on absolute truth. Several times the translation mentions that what Jesus told the disciples had never been mentioned in all the aeons. Until copyright rules can be ascertained, the translation can be seen at [[Sophia]].
