One of the first four ships to settle Christchurch, New Zealand arriving December 16th 1850 with 34 cabin passengers, 15 intermediate and 161 steerage passengers.
She left Gravesend? on the 4th September 1850, and Plymouth? on the night of Saturday 7th September, chartered by the [Canterbury Association]? with Captain William Dale the ships captain.
She was registered A1 at Lloyds, 671 tons by the old Act, 761 tons by the new Act.
