Tamara Jernigan

Tamara Jernigan (born May 7, 1959, in Tennessee) is a female astronaut, who flew in five space shuttle missions (three with Columbia and one each with Endeavour and Discovery). In her last mission in Discovery on 1999, she performed an extravehicular activity for about 8 hours.
