Unlike western chess, however, pieces don't have color, but direction. This leads to the fascinating feature that when I capture one of your pieces, I have it 'in hand' and can, when it is my turn again, drop the piece (there are some limitations) so it's facing towards you as one of my pieces!
This tends to prevent draws, and makes for a very interesting game.
