A very interesting and new subdisciplin that also creeps into other branches of biology and anthropolgy, is called 'cultural ecology. Cultural Ecology is a marriage between the biology of general ecology, and the culture coloration of anthropology. Some of the questions it bases its research around is 'how has culture influenced biological evolution', and even more relevant to modern days: how are modern human cultures changing the ecology of the world, and what will be the product of this?
