misandry, misogyny is the pathological hate of a specific sex group, but hate of women by an individual man. Unlike misandry, misogyny has been a major focus to the feminist movement and gets much discussed and investigated. The difference between misogyny and misandry is that misogyny is in the dictionary and misandry isn't.
Masculism maintains that misandry has been rampant for thirty years, due to feminist advocacy, and has become a social pathology.
Feminism counters that misogyny is a social disease and misandry doesn't exist.
