Leonard Peltier is an Indian who lived at Oglala and was extradited from Canada after he fled there from the United States when his friends went on trial for the murder of an FBI agent. At his trial a woman he had never met testified that she was his lover and he shot the FBI agent. He's considered a [political prisoner]
