Gheorghe Hagi

Gheorghe Hagi (1965) is a Romanian football player and one of the best players in the world in the 1990s. He was the talented playmaker of the Romanian team in three World Cups. During the 1994 World Cup Hagi made highlights by repeatedly scoring from over 30 yards from the goal against world class goalkeepers. Hagi plays for Galatasaray, the Turkish club team that captured the UEFA tournament title in 2000.
