Free On-line Dictionary of Computing

The Free On-line Dictionary of Computing (FOLDOC) is exactly what one would expect from the title: an on-line, searchable dictionary of computing subjects. It was founded in 1985 by Denis Howe.

Mr. Howe has given Wikipedia permission to incorporate FOLDOC's material into the encyclopedia. See the status page to see how much has been imported.
