Enders Game

Enders Game was written by Orson Scott Card and was his first published novel. Enders Game originated as a short story and is set in the future and mankind is facing annihilation from an aggressive alien society that functions as a hive mind. Genius children are the ultimate defenders and leaders of the protection of Earth.

In addition to being a very enjoyable and fascinating read, the protagonist, Ender, leads, motivates, and directs his army using excellent leadership skills. Some military colleges have used Enders Game as a textbook on leadership.
