Electrical telegraph

A telegraph that uses electric signals. Though some systems such as the British "needle" telegraph were in use by the 1830s, the first practical system was built in 1844 Samuel Morse, capable of using poor quality wire over long distances. Morse also create the Morse code for use on the device.
