Edinburgh

Edinburgh (pronounced eh-din-burrah) is the capital of Scotland since 1492, located on that country's east coast along the North Sea on the south side of the Firth of Forth. It is the site of Scotland's devolved? parliament, re-established in 1999.

Edinburgh also hosts a major arts festival every summer; at this point, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is larger than the older, official festival.
