Professor Martin Fiebert of California State University has compiled a bibliography of 117 studies, which all show that women hit men in the home at least as often as men hit women, but this is treated like a state secret by the Western media. Prominent in this area of research are professors at the University of New Hampshire.
Feminists tend to point to the arrest statistics, which appear to show that it is in fact mainly men who commit Domestic Violence. However, Peter Zohrab's book, "Sex, Lies & Feminism" argues that the traditional male chivalry of the Police, coupled with their recent training in Feminist ideology, results in their treating any assault by a woman as provoked, and any assault by a man as unprovoked. Spousal murders by women, for example, tend to be treated as the result of male Domestic Violence, whereas spousal murders by men are treated as an instance of male Domestic Violence.
