Demiurge

The Demiurge, or arch begetter, or craftsman, was the creator of the physical reality and the physical aspect of man. The Demiurge is identical with God in the Old Testament of the bible, but not the same as the Father in the New Testament. He is called by many names, including Samael, which is god of the blind, and Yaltabaoth to name a few. He is called ignorant due to his claim to be the only god and in so claiming, showing he knew nothing of the true god, the unknowable, immeasurable god that is above all gods.
