Chick has angered certain people, since his strips allege Satanic influences lie behind Catholicism (["Are Roman Catholics Christians?"]), Hallowe'en (["Boo!"]), Buddhism (["The Tycoon"]), Islam (["Allah had no Son"]), and Freemasonry (["The Curse of Baphomet"]), among other common beliefs -- and, of course, any role-playing game (["Dark Dungeons"]).
