Two railway tunnels and a service tunnel, interconnected, underneath the English Channel connecting England and France. It is 31 miles (ca. 47 km) long out of which 23 miles (ca. 35 km) are underwater. The average depth is 150 ft (ca. 45 metres) underneath the seabed. Also called [The Chunnel]?.
